In recent years, the turntable has once again become one of the most popular devices for listening to music. But they are also great home accessories that are sure to catch the eye of any visitor. If you can't decide which turntable is right for you, read on and we'll help you navigate the wide range of products available.

Which turntable to choose?
If you're a beginner with a few records at home, or if you're excited about the trend but not sure if it's for you, we recommend an all-in-one turntable. These turntables offer great value for money, come with a built-in preamplifier, and often have features like radio, Bluetooth, or USB connectivity.

If you don't need a turntable to decorate your home, if you like to travel, or if you're just going to carry it around more often, consider getting a portable turntable. These units usually have built-in speakers, but often have the option of connecting external speakers or an amplifier.

Vintage design enthusiasts will find retro turntables in this category. A statement piece that no one will overlook in your home, it doesn't require any extra equipment to play. They're affordable and often include modern features like FM radio, Bluetooth connectivity, or headphone output.

A great compromise between compact all-in-one turntables and home or hi-fi turntables are turntable sets. These sets include all the components, including the amplifier and speakers, so all you have to do is plug them in.

For the more adventurous who want to take a peek into the world of audiophiles, we recommend a home turntable. You'll appreciate the excellent balance of price, sound quality, timeless design and quality craftsmanship. In this case, you can follow the ""less is more"" rule: the fewer functions a turntable has, the better the quality of its components.

Hi-Fi turntables are a jewel among turntables. Don't expect fancy features! Instead, you will get an aesthetic design made of high quality materials and a perfect sound, ideal for audiophiles. Every detail of the turntable is perfectly coordinated, and the turntable will definitely attract every connoisseur.

DJ turntables are ideal for scratching and more demanding edits. These are direct-drive, high-torque turntables. They're best used in combination with a mixer and studio monitors.

If you're looking for a turntable that can play a variety of media and audio sources, we also offer record players with Bluetooth connectivity or record players with a CD player.

Parts of a turntable

The plinth is the base of the turntable. It can be made of different materials such as wood, plastic or even metal. Its function is to insulate the internal parts, but it also has an aesthetic function.

The platter is the part of the turntable on which the record is placed. It is designed to prevent the record from shifting, which could result in poor sound quality and possible damage to the vinyl. The platter can be made of different materials and each material has specific properties.

The drive is used to rotate the platter. There is a direct drive where the motor is isolated from the rest of the turntable and is used for noise reduction. This type of drive is mainly used in DJing. Another type is the belt drive, where the platter is driven by a belt. With this type of drive, it takes longer to reach the desired speed. The speed can only be controlled by selecting 33 RPM or 45 RPM.

The tonearm is the long part of the platter that holds the cartridge and stylus. The tonearm is used to move a stylus to the record, which fits into the grooves of the vinyl and plays it. The tonearm also has a balancing function. It distributes the pressure on the record, preventing it from being scratched or damaged.

The cartridge and the stylus are the executive of the play. Both components are interchangeable and by replacing them with a higher quality component, the playing experience can be taken to a whole new level.
