Primed for modern hard rock and metal, the Jackson® Pro Series King V™ KVTMG, is a regal guitar designed to deliver giant and crushing tone.
The Pro KVTMG offers premium features including a resonant mahogany body and graphite-reinforced through-body maple neck with hand-rubbed oil back finish and wrap-around heel for increased playing comfort. Built for maximum playing speed and comfort, its 12”-16” compound radius bound ebony fingerboard features 22 jumbo frets and alumiloid piranha tooth inlays.
Powered by a pair of brawny EMG® 81 and EMG 85 humbucking pickups, this brutally powerful instrument delivers commanding punch while retaining clarity with enhanced note definition, a critical component for modern metal. The Pro KVTMG also features single volume and tone controls, three-way pickup toggle switch, radius compensated TOM-style bridge and an anchored tailpiece for laser intonation along the length of the neck.
Ebony is a very hard and dense wood with a smooth surface and a rich, dark color. It offers a clear, articulate tone with excellent response. The ebony fingerboard is popular for its durability, speed and luxurious appearance, while offering excellent playability and precise tone.
The humbucker-humbucker configuration means that the guitar is equipped with two humbucker pickups. It offers a powerful, full sound with high output and low noise, ideal for rock and metal.
Maple is known for its strength and stability, making it ideal for necks that need to resist bending and warping.
Mahogany is a dense wood that produces a warm, full tone with rich bass and a strong mid-range. It is known for its excellent sustain and resonance, giving it a deep and round sound.
