Product code: 291-8809-585 | ID: 389578
The JS Series Dinky™ Arch Top JS32Q DKA HT has a poplar body with a beautiful quilt maple arched top and a bolt-on maple speed neck with graphite reinforcement for rock-solid stability and scarf joint for reduced playing fatigue. Hosting 24 jumbo frets and pearloid sharkfin inlays, the 12”-16” compound radius bound amaranth fingerboard gradually flattens toward the heel from its more rounded profile at the nut. This makes for comfortable and natural-feeling chording and riffing near the nut, with optimal shred articulation and bending nearer the heel.
Powered by direct mount dual Jackson high-output humbucking pickups with ceramic magnets, the JS32Q DKA HT also features a three-way pickup blade switch, Jackson HT6 string-through-body hardtail bridge and die-cast tuners.
Amaranth, also known as purple heart, is a hardwood with a distinctive purple color. It offers clear, balanced tone with fast response. It is durable and stable, making it a reliable material for fingerboards, while giving the instrument a unique and aesthetically distinctive look.
Poplar is a medium-light wood that produces a well-balanced tone with an emphasis on the mid-range and soft bass. It has a smooth and neutral tonal characteristics. This makes it a versatile material for a wide range of musical styles. Poplar is often used for its affordability and consistent tonal characteristics.
The humbucker-humbucker configuration means that the guitar is equipped with two humbucker pickups. It offers a powerful, full sound with high output and low noise, ideal for rock and metal.
The Superstrat is a type of electric guitar based on the design of the Stratocaster, but modified for a more aggressive style of playing, especially in the hard rock and metal genres. It has a solid body, often with powerful humbucker pickups for a more powerful and distorted sound. Superstrat guitars often have an improved tremolo system (like the Floyd Rose) and a faster neck for technical playing. This type of guitar is designed for the modern guitarist who demands more versatility and performance.
Maple is known for its strength and stability, making it ideal for necks that need to resist bending and warping.
