Resonator guitar from Roots Collection series that features deluxe appointments to provide distinctively swampy tone, including the Fishman Nashville Biscuit-style pickup for amplified sound. Its vital feature is the Gretsch ''Ampli-Sonic'' Biscuit resonator cone with weathered poinsettia cover that is hand-spun in Eastern Europe from nearly 99-percent pure aluminium, yielding an impressive quality and volume of tone. The body of the instrument is made of laminated mahogany with internal Sound-Well bracing and 3-ply binding. The medium “V” mahogany neck is fitted with katalox fingerboard with 20 medium jumbo frets and abalone dot inlays. Scale length is 635 mm and width of the bone nut is 44.45 mm. Other features include a 3x3 1930s Gretsch headstock, Grover Sta-Tite die-case tuners, hard maple “Biscuit” bridge with ebony/maple saddle and trapeze tailpiece, and D'Addario EJ16 Phosphor Bronze strings (Light, gauges: .012-.053). 2-Color Sunburst colour design.
