Gretsch G6128TDS Players Edition Jet DS WC Black Electric guitar

The 1950's and '60s are considered the Golden Years of Gretsch guitars production. To celebrate 65 years of the Jet, Gretsch have released the Gretsch G6128TDS Players Edition Jet DS. A fitting tribute to the timeless guitars manufactured during this period, this is an outstanding modern take on an original great.

With a Maple top on a Mahogany body, the G6128T DS Jet is finished in a range of classic colours including Sahara Metallic, Dark Cherry, Black and Lotus Ivory. The flagship model in the Gretsch Solid Body range, the Jet has a really rich harmonic power. By letting air resonate between the top and the body through its chambered Mahogany construction, the Jet has a super lively and articulate tone.

The Mahogany neck features a U profile, comfortable underhand and offering a great position for both heavy chordal work and more delicate lead playing. The 24 frets bear the classic aged Pearloid Thumbnail inlays and give that familiar Gretsch aesthetic.

Loaded with a pair of Dynasonic  pickups you get vintage growl with superb clarity. With a treble bleed circuit and no load tone control, you always have full control over your tone. Combined with the Bigsby vibrato unit, you can emulate all your favourite country and rockabilly licks without compromising on tuning stability.
