Excellent bass tuning mechanism. Already a solid construction, light but strong, in matte black finish. It has smooth running, keeps tuning well. Stronger pins, so fewer turns are needed. Metal intermediate rings between bow ties and mechanics. Made in Japan. I replaced the original cheap Ibanez micro with this mechanism and I don't regret the amount I paid for it. Gotoh is not wrong.
