Leveraging two of Leo Fender's legendary models, the S-500 and Comanche, the G&L Tribute Legacy is yet another solidbody designed and wired for impeccable tone and mind-blowing playability. At the heart of the Tribute Legacy is a trio of CLF-100 Alnico V pickups deliver tried-and-true late-'50s-style chime and quack. Guided by Paul Gagnon, one of G&L's committed designers, these pickups have been meticulously built and wired to deliver the kind of sonic output that tone chasers of essentially any genre will love. This guitar is also loaded with G&L's PTB (Passive Treble and Bass) system, which functions as a 2-band tone control, allowing bass and treble frequencies to be cut separately for precise tone shaping. However, the electronics aren't the only impressive thing that the Tribute Legacy has to offer — this guitar is incredibly comfortable and easy to play. During long sessions, you'll appreciate the lightweight poplar body, comfortable contours, and fast "C"-shaped maple neck.
Single-Coil Single-Coil Single-Coil configuration means that the guitar is equipped with three single-coil pickups. It offers a bright, crisp tone with punchy highs and clean tones, ideal for styles such as blues, pop, rock and country where a dynamic and detailed response is required.
