The Epiphone Emperor Swingster is a way-cool guitar that excels in a wide range of genres, including jazz, blues, rockabilly, country, and rock. This hollowbody has a 5-ply layered maple body, mahogany neck with a comfortable and fast-playing SlimTaper profile, Indian laurel fretboard with block inlays, mother of pearl Epiphone and Tree of Life inlays on the large Clipped Dove Wing headstock, Grover Rotomatic tuning machines, and two Epiphone SwingBucker pickups, each with a dedicated volume and tone control. Push/pull switches are built into each volume control to provide series/parallel switching for the pickups, and along with the 3-way toggle pickup selector switch, give you a broad selection of tonal options. The LockTone Tune-O-Matic bridge is mounted on a pinned wooden base so it won't move out of place when you use the licensed Bigsby vibrato with wire handle.

Přes všechny uvedené nedostatky - je to okouzlující nástroj.

Plusy: krásně dílensky zpracovaná, opravdová kráskasilný zvuk "bez elektriky", smrkový top dodává zvonivé výškydrží ladění, mechaniky chodí jistě a jemněpickguard jako montážní sada přibalen - eventuální montáž záleží na individuálním přání hráče

Mínusy: rozpínání humbuckerů jde hodně ztuha a strašně nahlas "cvaká", je to lubovka , no... A navíc je to přesně naopak, než u Epi Les Paulů - LP rozpíná při vytažení nahoru, Swingster při zatlačení dolu. Takže "furt ve střehu"... tvar "knobů" na tónových korekcích není pro rozpínání snímačů (vertikální pohyb) moc vhodný - tvar a malý poloměr vyžadují dost velkou sílu v prstech, aby se to dalo vytáhnoutnastavení kytary se dělá jen v Indonésii ve výrobě a pak na druhém konci světa u Muzikeru už (asi) nic - oktávy při dodání ladily jen na dvou strunách...v Praze chybí Muzikeru kytarář - budu muset sebrat odvahu, abych začal do tak pěkné kytary vrtat a ten pickguard si sám namontoval
