D'Angelico Excel SS Solid Black Semi-Acoustic Guitar

The Excel SS has asserted itself in the world of semi-hollow guitars. A 15" wide single-cutaway, the SS is equal parts warm and punchy. Perfectly balanced Seymour Duncan 59 Humbuckers provide savory tone - including coil-tapping push/pull tone knobs for single-coil sparkle - while a slim C-shape neck profile offers maximum comfort. Now with an ebony fingerboard for archtop articulation and remarkable sustain. Featuring a modern radius and medium jumbo fretwire from Jescar. Grover Imperial tuners inspired by vintage D’Angelico’s from the 40s and 50s ensure consistent and accurate tuning with a 16:1 gear ratio. Now available in Solid Black.
