Bromo BAT4MC Natural Jumbo Guitar

Inspired by the majestic reputation of the Tahoma volcano in the Pacific Ring of Fire, the Tahoma series is a series designed for advanced players. This model has a solid mahogany top, which creates a relatively smoother and warmer tone tone. Patented ToneFlow bracing system helps increase resonance and richness. The medium-sized Auditorium Hillside model provides comfort and ease of playing, and the sharp cut-out of the lower body allows convenient access to the higher frets. The old-school atmosphere is completed by the rosewood body binding.

Pros: Surprisingly light guitar. Right out of the box (after tuning of course) it's been playable. Can be "touched" by a luthier for maximum convenience. The instrument allows great dynamics in playing and has a nice, crisp response. With the factory strings, the bass is tight and tight, the mids are bright and the highs are clear but unobtrusive. I bought a "defective" unit, but the repair was well done and I can add that rather to the positives. The design is also original and I find the guitar beautiful. I love the satin finish over the natural texture. And right here came a surprise! Cons: The "neck" is multi-layered (which is nice because it prevents twisting) but I don't think it was necessary to tint the inner layers. True, it looks "cooler", but after only two hours of playing, the stain started to fade in places with more intensive use, for example the 0th, 3rd and 5th positions, and this compromises the appearance. I also noticed another defect - an oil stained place where the "neck" joins the body, but this is an aesthetic problem, it cannot affect the sound or mechanical properties. I guess the manufacturer was worried about the lighter color of the inlaid amara ebony and therefore went overboard with the toning, which I personally find secondary. In the end, for just over 100 euros, I got more than a great tool for an advanced hobbyist like myself, and I'm satisfied.
