Padded, technical 2-layer shell jacket developed for skiing. Oppdal Insulated Jacket is made from a windproof, waterproof and breathable Bergans Element Active® material (water column: min. 10,000 mm), that is soft and comfortable. Bergans ArcticInsulation is a synthetic padding material that keep its heating capabilities even when it gets moisty. The high collar and helmet-compatible hood gives perfect protection from wind and snow. Oppdal Insulated Jacket is designed to provide you with maximum freedom of movement and is suitable for moderate to high activity levels in tough weather conditions.

Fabric

BERGANS ARCTICINSULATION

• Bergans ArcticInsulation is Bergans’ own-brand of synthetic insulating material. It has good wicking properties and is lightweight and compressible. We use Bergans ArcticInsulation in garments designed to provide good heat insulation, even under moist conditions and during various levels of activity.

RECCO®

• RECCO® is a maintenance-free reflector which helps search and rescue crews during searches for people who have been caught in an avalanche. At Bergans we have chosen to sew in a RECCO® search reflector in some of products. This neither guarantees that you will be found, nor that you will not be caught in an avalanche. But where a RECCO® searcher is in place, the reflector on the garments can be of good help for search and rescue crews. The RECCO® reflector is maintenance-free and does not require activation. It functions as a transporter of radio waves, cannot activate alarm systems, and will not be destroyed by de-magnetization.
